Acer palmatum 'Osakazuki' is a Japanese maple popular for its deep red autumnal colour. This Acer variety has green foliage in the spring and summer. As the summer ends, its foliage will start changing colour into orange and lastly a spectacular crimson red. It will keep its red foliage well into November. Once all leaves have fallen off, its intricate trunk and branches will add structure to the garden all throughout winter.

Japanese maples are slow growing trees, suitable for any size garden as feature or specimen tree, in partial shade so long as they are sheltered from the wind.

This acer measures 150-175cm in height and 150-160cm wide.

All our size descriptions are true to size, measurements are of plants excluding rootballs or pots.
