We want everyone to be able to browse and buy from The Plant Collector online. This statement explains how our online shop meets the accessibility requirements of the European Union (Accessibility Requirements of Products and Services) Regulations 2023, where it falls short, and how to reach us if you have difficulty.
Our service
Our online shop at shop.theplantcollector.com lets you browse our trees, plants and garden products, read descriptions and care guidance, add items to a basket, choose delivery or collection, and pay. You can also book a consultation, send us a project enquiry, and cancel an online order using the Cancel contract here link.
How we meet accessibility requirements
We aim to meet the European standard EN 301 549, which incorporates the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. In practice, our shop is designed so that you can navigate and complete a purchase using a keyboard alone; text can be enlarged to 200% without loss of content; colour is never the only way information is shown; forms have labels and clear error messages; and pages work with common screen readers.
We are adding text descriptions to every product image and expect to complete this by 31 January 2027.
Product information, prices including VAT, delivery charges and our policies are provided as text on the page, not only in images or PDFs.

Feedback and contact
If you find a barrier on our website, please tell us at info@theplantcollector.com or on +353 1 437 0916, saying which page and what went wrong. We will reply within five working days and tell you what we will do about it.
Enforcement
The Competition and Consumer Protection Commission is responsible for enforcing these requirements in Ireland. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the CCPC at ccpc.ie.
